About CAMO

CAMO is volunteer organization and a TASBO Affiliate providing educational & networking opportunities for staff from local School Districts and other maintenance professionals which serves the Greater Austin, Texas area.

CAMO stands for Capital Area Maintenance & Operations. We provide monthly educational luncheon meetings every 3rd Thursday starting at 10am. Networking with other school districts & vendor members starts 30min before each meeting. Typically, a vendor member teaches on a topic related to the type of business they provide. Topics range from Maintenance Best Practices, HVAC, Custodial, Major Construction, etc.

The annual Vendor Fair & Trade show is held in April at the Austin ISD Delco Center. During the Vendor Fair we also present our yearly donation to the TASBO Scholarship fund. In 2014, we donated $6,000. In 2013, we donated $6,000. In 2012, we donated $3,000.
